Creator
of the internationally acclaimed
Tarot of the
Sephiroth,
Dan Staroff, has explored most mediums of the visual
arts since he was old enough to hold a crayon.
Formally trained in painting and printmaking, (Brooklyn
College CUNY, and the School of Visual Arts in NYC) his
subject matter spans the gamut from the ridiculous to the
sublime, tackling everything from Metaphysics to Mother
Goose. His illustrations, displaying a sophisticated and
unique perspective (tempered by a somewhat jaundiced brand
of humor) have appeared in the pages of books and national
magazines, and have been donated for use by numerous
educational and charitable organizations.
He has also been a professional digital retoucher since
1999; working for such clients as Liz Claiborne, Claiborne,
Dana Buchman, Detroit Bride, DKNY Jeans, Hanes, Kate Spade,
Lucky Jeans, Mexx, Microdry, Monet Jewelry, New Jersey
Bride, Redbook, Shiseido,Town and Country, and Verizon. For
